Storyline
Steven Russell (Jim Carrey) have a happily marriage life. He has a simply life. He's an organ player in the local church, and a member of the local police force. Until one day, he had a car accident and the secret he tries to hide is open, he's gay, because he want to live his life. So he get divorced and have a new boyfriend but he's a con man because he spends a lot of money 'till he has to do anything to keep his life still comfortable. He got arrested and he met Phillip Morris(Ewan McGregor) there.
My Opinion
This movie is based on a true story
and If you are anti-gay,
you may still enjoy seeing these men go to their doom, as usually happens to
gay roles that Hollywood allows to be played. I heard some bad press on
this film, mainly because of the homosexuality plot, so it hasn't had as much
appeal, but you would think it being a true story would stop them from
discriminating. Personally, I’m very like Ewan McGregor and it is really
good to see him play in role of homosexual. You can really enjoy in his
performance of another gay in this movie and I hope everyone gives this
film a chance. The content is amazing and the acting is superb.
