This Big Miracle happened in Paralympic Games 2012 in London. The blind Australian swimmer, Linda Evans, won the gold medal in 100m freestyle and now she can see.

This was recently happened in Paralympic Games 2012 and everybody hopefully want to see it happen again. The swimmer from Australia, Linda Evans has won the gold medal from 100m freestyle. She's blind when she was born, but she never gives up. She continuously live her life as ordinary people.

Linda joined the swimming team when she was eighteen. Her mother said, "Linda always likes to be in the water, eventhough she can't see but she can feel." Linda has a very perfect skills, she won every boys in her school. So she loves to be a part of the history by swimming for her country. Maybe because of her will and strength, God shows mercy by giving her eyes back.

When she steps up to receive her medal, it appears that she can see. This was shocked everyone in the Olympic Stadium. Most of people said it was a miracle and happy with her that she has her sight back, but there are some of people think she faked to be blind.  

Save 50% With Cloth Bag

The biggest department store of Thailand will begin to give a 50% discount for the customers who bring the cloth bag to shopping in the store tomorrow.

Sujit Busarakum , the manager of Green Paradise Department Store said that his store will give a 50% discount for his customers, if the customers bring the cloth bag to shopping instead of the plastic bag. But if the customers do not bring their bag, the store will charge 10 Baht for 1 plastic bag. This promotion has no end, and it can used all over 13 branches of his store.

Sujit said that this promotion was happened according to the global warming issue. This problem is getting worse every day.  So, he thought about this promotion in order to help the earth from this trouble.

“I don’t care if the policy buy 10 Baht for 1 plastic bag is too greedy for some people. I just want to help the earth as much as I can. And this way is the best way that I can think of. It makes profit to both human and nature.” Said Sujit.

This promotion was supported by the Green World, the organization about the environment in Thailand. Dr.Udom Somboon, the lead of the organization said that “this is the good sign for a business sector about the awareness of the environment. This department store is a good example of a company which really care about the environment. Not just telling us that they love the world, but do nothing to help the world to be better like other companies.”

Disappearing newborn without evidence.

On Monday 17, the disappearing of newborn and nobody can't prove how baby disappear.

The police receive a call from woman that her newborn was missing from home last night. The woman told the police that she find her baby disappeared when she wake up on a night. The woman and her husband try to find her baby all of her home they cannot found.

They are very doubt that how they baby disappear because they sleep in the same room with they baby and their home is very safe. Their home has security guard all day and night and has just they and their a lovely cat live.

The police try to find suspect thing but nothing suspect except their lovely cat. The woman told the police that after her baby had disappeared, her cat is not eating any pet food. This make police go to inspect big pet house of their cat and find some unusually thing. The pet house is very bad noise and has diapers of baby.

The police suspect that the cat is murderer. The husband and wife are not believed because their cat lives with them more than 10 years. The police confident that cat is a murdered and ask them to give their cat to prove with doctor. The doctor scans the body of cat and found that has bone of baby in stomach cat.

The copy cat shop was under arrest in the central area of Bangkok.

There was a copy cat shop which was very popular among university students that located in the city. A vast majority of university students purchased stuff from the shop a great deal. This led to suspecion of the police to investigate the issue.

Snacks, candies, cheap stuff and food were prepared to sell inside the store. The best seller is 'Piggy Pao Pao',  which is a kind of Dim Sum imported from a country in Southeast Asia. The Piggy Pao Pao was so delicious that there were a lot of students standing on the line from Asoke to Thonglor.

A police officer began to investigate why the traffic was terrible. Many of people said that it was the store that caused traffic jam. The police then bought the Piggy Pao Pao and sent to Dr.Pimthip to diagnose if the dim sum contains something illegle.

The result later showed that there was something illegal made of tissue paper and dog food which was used to replace the flavour of pork.

All of the police of Asoke Station arrested the owner of the copy cat shop. All stuff was soon tested, and it was revealed that all things in the store were fake.

                      According to the previous flooding in Thailand, there is a prophercy that Thailand would be drown underneath the ocean water and Thailand will be no longer in the world's map anymore. This would affect to Thai people very much if this will happen for real.

                      The pictures speak volumes of the extent of devastations caused by the torrential rain and the resultant sufferings of the people of Thailand at large. Thailand is a beautiful country but seeing it submerged in water is heart wrenching. This will take months if not years to restore the country. 

                      While it is time to pray to the divine God for help, it is also time for people of the world to search and soften their hearts and show their mercy and magnanimity by donating generously whether in cash and kind to the people of Thailand. The help is now and not tomorrow. If we want Thailand to be still on the world's map, we have to save the energy and protect the environment.

                       Luckily, today Thailand is still here and has everything we need.



5 died in group suicide jump off building

The 5 believers of the small doctrine commit a group suicide by jump off the building in New York City according to their belief about the coming of the end of the world.

Mr. Sam Halliday, the witness of this tragedy said that actually there are about 12 people at the roof of the building, but the agents can pursue the most of them except those 5 people who jump off. Moreover, they spread the handbills about the horror of the end of the world and try to pursue the people around the street to commit a suicide like them.

Dr. Spencer Reid, the FBI agent said that this is a small doctrine which believes that 2012 is the year of the end of the world. People are all going to die and will be punished in hell. But, if they are commit suicide and confess all of their sin to their God, they will be clean.

 “I know people have right to believe anything they want, but I think this doctrine is completely nonsense. It is clearly that they are telling you to die. I don’t know why those believers still believe them. It is totally not worth for them to die like that.” Said Dr.Reid.

Anyway, the polices are investigating this case to accuse this doctrine, and keeping eye on them to make sure that this scary tragedy will never happen again.

OASIS VS BLUR : The Battle of Britpop

Hi guys, today I have a question for you… How many of you guys know the band “Oasis” or “Blur”??

Yes, they’re my two favorite bands. (again…) Actually, I usually introduced you just one band per week, but this week is special. I will introduce you two bands!!

The reason why I introduce two bands in the same time is there was a big competition between them in the 90s. It was called “The Battle of Britpop” (Britpop is a music genre of these two bands. The sound is a bit like alternative rock but softer.)  Many newspapers in that time wrote about them. The member of the both bands is strongly opposed to each other. The big question in that time is “Who is better, Oasis or Blur?” So, today I will bring that question back… I will introduce you some songs of them. All you have to do is decide who is better? Yes, simple as that, so…let’s play the game together!!

1. Oasis

I think many of you may know them already. There are many top-hit songs come from this band. But, if you didn’t heard them before, don’t worry. I will introduce you. 

- Wonderwall

I think this is the most famous of Oasis’s song in Thailand (Or maybe in the world). It simply beautiful, and never goes out of date. Both the melody and the lyrics are so sweet. I think this is the best song for the boy to sing for the girl he love. Hope one day there will be a guy sing this to me… teehee!!

- Champagne Supernova

This is my most favorite song from them. Firstly, I LOVE the title of this song “Champagne Supernova” I don’t know what exactly it means, but it sound like you’re sleeping among the stars, something like that. The beginning of the song is sooo relaxed. This song is beautiful, totally beautiful. I don’t know how to describe this. You should listen to it, so you’ll know how amazing the song is.

2. Blur

In Thailand, this band may not as famous as Oasis. But this band is considered to be one of the best Britpop bands in the world. There are some interesting tracks from them…

- Song 2

I think many of us may heard this song before, but you may don’t know who the artist of the song is, or even the name of the song is “Song 2” not the “Woohoo song” Haha!! Ok, this song is not a Britpop. It’s more like alternative rock for me. Although the song is short, it is very good when the song is performed in their live concert. I really love to hear the crowd say WOOHOOO!! That is so cool.

- Beetlebum

This is my most favorite song of them. I LOVE the sound of the guitar in this song. It is so perfect and unique. It is sooo addictive. I can listen to this all day. The tone of this song is dark. I heard the meaning is about heroin. Anyway, whatever the meaning of the song is, I still love it.

And the last two songs are “Roll with It” from Oasis, and “Country house” from Blur. These songs are released in the same day and make both bands compete to reach the number one of the UK Chart. Anyway, I’m not going to tell you who win. I just want you to listen and decide it by yourself. J

However, I love both bands. They are all God of Britpop. But, if I have to take side, I think I’ll go with Blur because ...

I LOVE GRAHAM COXON (the guitarist)!! THAT’S ALL!! HAHA!!

No no no, that’s just kidding, there is something more than Graham Coxon. (Although I really love him…)  I think Blur has a stable improvement. All of their albums show that they want to change themselves. Every album has a new unique sound to impress us. It’s not like Oasis, in their lately album show nothing. The sounds are still like their early album, no any surprisingly difference. I know that the first three albums are good, very good. But, I think it would be boring if they’re going to the same path again and again. So, that is why I choose Blur.

Ok, that is all of my opinion. What’s about yours?

When you think about ice cream, you will think about you young time. Of course, all of you have eaten ice cream. But ice cream that I will show you is quite different and special from ice cream that you have eat in your young time.

This ice cream store is called "Tongue fun". It is located in Yotse Soi. "Tongue fun" is the unique homemade ice cream that different from others ice cream. If you see the customers that eating ice cream at this store, you will imagine that why they can eat ice cream in hot pot. But in fact, this is the ice cream served in a hot pot with steam rising from a pot of dry ice.

Moreover, there are more than 50 ice cream flavors to choose which you may wonder that some of flavors can be really ice cream. There are fruit flavors such as Strawberry, Lemon, Mango, Lychee, Mangosteen, Santol, Banana, and Berries depend on fruit season which you will feel like you eat real fruit.

In part of ice cream which mixture of milk, there are coffee, iced tea, green tea, including flavored "Intense milk" which it is very popular.

In part of chocolate, there is Chocolate Banana, Chocolate Brownies, and the new flavor is "Dark Chocolate Brandy Cherry.”And the special flavor that I believe that you never seen before is "Vodka Red Bull" and "Beer". Which may be desirable for the customer's who like alcohol.

The cost of ice cream is 25, 28 and 30 Bath only. That is quite reasonable for getting the best quality taste of Thai homemade ice cream.

TED IS COMING!!!

            Hi guys! ...Today I will recommend the new movie name's Ted. I have seen this trailer for a few months ago. It's kinda have somthing interesting in itself. The movie is about A lonely boy growing up with no friends makes a Christmas wish for his teddy bear to come to life.
Surprisingly his wish is granted.Several years later now and John (Mark Wahlburg)is still living with Ted (voiced by Seth Macfarlane),along with Johns girlfriend Lori (Mila Kunis),Lori wants Ted to move out so John can move on with his life,but its just not that easy.

                    Behind the scenes, I have heard that there are various teddy bears were used as stand-ins and Ted's movement were done by Seth MacFarlane, whom I'm very like to see him in sountrack of Family Guys. He's so hilarious and a very talented man. Ted is his first live-action project and also the director of this movie.

                      Lastly, I hope this movie will make you have a good weekend because this movie has such a great special effect and contains many good ideals. It will be on theater on August 30, 2012. I look forwarding to watch it on this Friday and hope you will, too

Artist Recommend : "BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB"

Hi guys, today I’m going to recommend the band named “Bombay Bicycle Club”. I’ve known this band for about one year, but actually this band’s started since 2009. At first, I must accept that I interest this band because of their name, not their songs. “BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB” I don’t know, it sound odd. “Bombay” it is like something in India, not an English band. HAHA!

Anyway, after I listened to their songs, I’m immediately fall in love with them! Their songs are amazing. Although they call themselves is an indie rock band, it’s not sound THAT rock to me. After I listen to their entire three albums, I feel that many of their songs are sweet, lovely, and make me tapping my foot, not jumping around the room like any other indie rock band does. They have three albums so far. If you love indie rock I recommend the first album “I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose “. If you love something folk and acoustic, the second album “Flaws” is perfect for you. But, if you love both indie rock and acoustic, the third album “A Different Kind Of Fix” is the best.

Personally, I think Bombay Bicycle club is one of the interesting bands for nowadays. They're still young(the members are about 22 years old) so, they have many chance to improve their album to be better and better. And all of their album that I heard, I think they did it well. So, I looking for their new album. no doubt that they are one of my favorite bands!

1. Shuffle

This is the first single of their third album, but it is my first song that I heard from them. I love this song the most because of the melody, especially at the beginning of the song. My friend told me once it is sound like a sound in a game, but I like it. Whenever I hear this song, I’m feel fresh, and feel like there will be something good coming soon. :)

2. Always Like This

The bass line of this song is PERFECT! I LOVE THAT! That’s enough for this song to be my number two! period!!

3.  Ivy & Gold

This is my most favorite song of the second album. I love the sound of banjo (FYI the banjo is a string musical instrument like guitar, but sound different. Usually used in a country song.) the banjo made the song sound sweet. I love that.

4. Lights Out, Words Gone

I don’t know what exactly the meaning of the song is, but this song make me happy. You should watch the music video of this song, it’s lovely. I bet you will smile after you watch it.:)

5. Dust on the Ground

There are two version of this song, the rock version in their first album and the acoustic version in the second album. But I prefer the acoustic version because the sound is more beautiful and relaxed than the other one.

           This movie is about Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner) CIA agent that has been in the black ops program, but one day he almost has been killed by his own kind, CIA. I think that the action scenes in this movie are very great, but personally I did not watch the 3 previous movie before, so I did not understand the story well. Literally, I did not understand any of it. When news first came that this movie would be a stand-alone of the franchise, I thought this would be better rather than continuing Jason Bourne's story. Even though the setting of the movie is good, the storyline isn't as great as the previous movies.

           However, I think if you already saw 3 previous version before, it would be a really great movie. And Jeremy Renner is a much more convincing action man than ever Matt Damon was. For me, I give 6 from 10.

Another menu is the "Big Pork Ribs". It has very nice taste and tender pork ribs topped with BBQ sauce, this recipe is the original of this restaurant.

Storyline

          Steven Russell (Jim Carrey) have a happily marriage life. He has a simply life. He's an organ player in the local church, and a member of the local police force. Until one day, he had a car accident and the secret he tries to hide is open, he's gay, because he want to live his life. So he get divorced and have a new boyfriend but he's a con man  because he spends a lot of money 'till he has to do anything to keep his life still comfortable. He got arrested and he met Phillip Morris(Ewan McGregor) there.

My Opinion

            This movie is based on a true story and If you are anti-gay, you may still enjoy seeing these men go to their doom, as usually happens to gay roles that Hollywood allows to be played. I heard some bad press on this film, mainly because of the homosexuality plot, so it hasn't had as much appeal, but you would think it being a true story would stop them from discriminating. Personally, I’m very like Ewan McGregor and it is really good to see him play in role of homosexual. You can really enjoy in his performance of another gay in this movie and I hope everyone gives this film a chance. The content is amazing and the acting is superb.

  Go watch it, you won’t regret it.

Album Recommend : She & Him - "Volume Two"

What do you do when you stuck at home on the rainy day?

For me, nothing better than lying on bed and listening to some chill-out music when the weather is like that.  Do you agree with me?

Anyway, if you don’t have any idea about some good music to listen to, you should read this blog, I will recommend one of my favorite albums that I usually listen to when I want to relax myself. The album is “volume two” by She & Him. Check it out! 

I don’t know how many of you guys know the woman in this video. She is Zooey Deschanel, the lead actress in the movie “The Happening”, “500 days of summer” (I LOVEEE that movie!!), and the series “New Girl”. And this is her other work…to be a singer. She work with M.Ward (Singer-songwriter, Producer) and formed the duo “She & Him”

The main genre of She & Him is an indie-pop and folk. They released three albums until now; “Volume One”, “Volume Two”, and “A Very She & Him Christmas” Anyway, today I will recommend the album “Volume Two” because I think this is the best from those three albums. I like it most.

The album Volume two has 13 tracks. All of those tracks have a beautiful melody by M.Ward with the cute voice of Zooey Deschanel. It made the album sound gentle like you lying on the candyfloss bed. Moreover, the meanings of the most songs are positive. So, I bet you will never feel down when you listen to this album. My recommend tracks are "In The Sun", "Thieves", "Lingering Still", and "Me and You".

So, lying on your bed, close your eyes, and turn on this CD.

"Mee Ton Poh" The Top 10 Phuket Local Restaurant

I went to Phuket on last summer and I very impressive about local Phuket restaurant, "Mee Ton Poh". Phuket located in the South of Thailand. Mee Ton Poh is one of many local restuarant that you will get real origin taste with Phuket atmosphere. The restaurant look simple table and plastic chair but the taste is quite identity.

 

Moreover, “Mee Ton Pho” is the top 10 Phuket local restaurant that open more over 60 years ago. It located near the clock tower traffic circle on Phuket Road. Mee Ton poh sell varity local food and the menu that I would like to recommend to you call "Mee Hokkien."

Mee Hokkien is Hokkien fried noodle style; yellow noodles and egg are stir fried with vegetables in soy sauce, usually with different choices of meat like pork, chicken or seafood. It come with fried shallots and pig cracking that you can mix with yourself before eating. It also cook in both dry and wet but the popular menu is wet Hokkien. It cost just 35-45 baths that reasonable for getting real local taste.

Just try it! And you will not disappoint.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Storyline

When Lincoln is a child, his mother has been murdered by vampire. Lincoln wants to revenge but he doesn't know what he's dealing with. Until he meets Henry who taught him how to kill a vampire. He gets his revenge but there's not only one vampire. So he prevents his country from these monsters!!!

Opinion

This movie has twisted from true story of Abraham Lincoln, the president of United States. The actors are fully performances. You won't disappoint it, I assure you. The director used a lot of cool angles with a bunch of slow motion special effects. You will not be disappointed by this film. I give it 8.5 out of 10

Overall, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter delivers on exactly what it promises. Abraham Lincoln kicking vampire ass!

Music Recommend : Fun - "Some Nights"

 

This is the second single of the second studio album "Some Nights" by Fun. Fun is an alternative rock band from New York City, America. The first single of this album named "We Are Young" is very successful. It reached number one of many charts around the world. So, today I will talk about this song. Is it any chance for this song to reach the number one like the first single? I will talk about it.


"Some Nights" has the pop/rock sound, but it has some of backing auto-tune choir that make it more special than other pop/rock songs. Some people don't like auto-tune because it destroy the originality of the song, but I think sometimes it better to have it. This song is a good example of good auto-tune because it make song sound strong and passionate.it can encourage you like you're  standing in the war. I think the band made that auto-tune sound on purpose because this song is talking about war. According to http://www.songmeanings.net/songs/view/3530822107859425130/,

The lyrics is talk about "American soldier in Iraq. The writer is critical of the war, and questions the worth of sending young men over there to die"

Personally, I like this song more than "We Are Young" because it is more catchy for me. Anyway, I think this song may not reach 1st in the chart because of the meaning of the song. The lyrics of "We Are Young" is easy to get into it, but this one is not. But I still support this song. :P


So, if you like this song or the single "We Are Young", I recommend you to listen to the rest of the album. I think it is one of the best album of this year. :)

I had tried once Lanta Pizza and I am very impressive about cheese on topping Pizza. Moreover, the taste is so amazing for me because it quite different from other Pizza in Thailand.

Especially for anyone who love cheese like me. The special of Lanta Pizza different from others Pizza that is home made Pizza that make dough fresh new daily, quality fresh ingredients, and fully cheese topping. Moreover, you can see procedure while cook are making you pizza in front of stove.

                                           

Furthermore, I was amazing about price that not too much expensive with fresh pizza. There are two standard size pizza ; 8 inch cost 180 bath and 10 inch cost 200 bath. The cost may be more or less depend on kind and topping. For me, I always order extra cheese that more 50 bath for extra cheese.   Just try it, you will feel amazing!
